    GMS has partnered with Mullowney Printing Co. over the course of a year-long intensive collaboration to offer a series of in-depth printmaking workshops to 11 GMS project participants under the mentorship of master printers Paul Mullowney and Kathy Kuehn.

  • Neighborhood Planting Party

    No previous experience required. We will supply all necessary tools and plants!

    Gather:Make:Shelter has partnered with Prosper Portland and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church for a planting party outside of St Andrew's Village, which now offers alternative shelter to older adults (45+) and people with physical disabilities who are living on the street.

    “Art saved my life, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t get to make it. The shadow  side of artists is that we are all thief’s…we kind of steal imagery from experiences we have, this inspiration turns into paying homage to our influences by creating.

    Major influences for me are rivers… mountains… cities etc. I’ve spent my whole life outside and have been homeless since I was nine so I am profoundly connected to nature as source material."

    Shae has 5 works on display at Willamette International Travel, a local travel agency company and partner of ours.
