BIPOC Village Mural
For the BIPOC C(3)PO village, Dana and the villagers collaborated on an elaborate fence design featuring plywood cutouts, bright colors, and crowdsourced imagery to represent the diverse and vibrant population inside and out.
The mural is designed to give a sense of humanity, to show there are people living here, and that it is not just another vacant industrial lot or scrap of Prosper Portland real estate.

A community collaboration
The BIPOC mural fence was designed by a committee of villagers and constructed over the course of a week with all hands on deck. Even beginning painters and builders quickly gained confidence as the fence came together. A cheerful statement full of smiling people, charming animals, and oversized flora, the mural has been well received by its neighbors and brings joy to the villagers inside.
