Movie Nights
Starting this Spring of 2024, GMS team is happy to present a series of free movie nights tailored for individuals experiencing houselessness and poverty.
These movie nights take place at our new GMS Annex space. The program aims to provide a source of entertainment and community engagement for those facing hardship, fostering connections and moments of respite in challenging circumstances.
In our extensive work with unhoused members of our community, we've observed the profound impact of storytelling and cinematic experiences in offering solace and escape. These movie nights seek to harness the transformative power of film to uplift spirits, spark conversations, and provide a brief reprieve from the struggles of daily life.
As the program progresses, participants will have the opportunity to not only enjoy curated screenings but also engage in discussions and activities inspired by the films.
Join us in supporting this initiative as we strive to create meaningful moments and foster a sense of belonging for those who need it most.
