Painting & Ceramics

Our foundational ceramics painting program connects local potters (professional, hobbyists, and students) with artists experiencing houselessness to create truly one-of-a-kind works of art. Ceramicists donate their handmade pieces as blank canvases while creatives are paid a stipend to paint the bowls. GMS holds painting workshops at local agencies and shelters to bring the project to the painters, as well as hosting workshops in our own HQ space.
