Join Gather:Make:Shelter in celebrating and experiencing The Joy Project at Cargo: Re-Envisioning Portland with Love. The Joy Project features an installation of ceramic house sculptures donated by artists Thomas Orr and painted by 100 artists experiencing houselessness. Each house expresses a unique and creative vision for the city they call home.

Throughout the month of December, houses from the Joy Project will be on view at Cargo Inc, in inner southeast Portland. Each house will be for sale individually with proceeds supporting organizations that provide services for people experiencinghouselessness, nurturing a culture of mutual support.

A huge thank you to Cargo Inc. for hosting the artworks in December!
