Fiber Art Workshops

Gather:Make:Shelter’s Fiber Art Workshops provide a welcoming and creative space for participants to explore the transformative potential of textile arts. Held twice a month at GMS’s workshop headquarters, these sessions are led by talented fiber artist Amanda Yampolsky. The workshops focus on a variety of fiber arts techniques, offering participants opportunities to engage in patchmaking, garment creation, clothing alterations, and creative mending. These activities not only allow for artistic expression but also empower participants to develop practical skills they can apply in everyday life or future endeavors.

The workshops are designed to foster creativity, community, and personal growth. Participants are encouraged to bring their own projects or start something new, with Amanda providing guidance and support tailored to their interests.
